Jon worked at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for two years as the online editor of northwest Arkansas. He is an art/journalism/business student at the University of Arkansas. He works as the Web guru for the university's student media and produces stories for Fayetteville's NPR-affiliated radio station.

After graduation in December 2013, he hopes to run away to the west coast.
